How can WAITRO help promising innovations move from research and pilot phases toward real-world deployment, scale, and investment?

This interactive and action-oriented workshop will explore how WAITRO could strengthen its support for member innovations across the journey from research and validation to commercialization, deployment, scalability, and investment readiness.

Participants will examine the challenges innovators face when moving beyond research and pilot projects and explore practical approaches to commercialization pathways, strategic partnerships, funding opportunities, scalable implementation, and access to capital.

The workshop will also introduce the proposed WAITRO Project Development and Advancement Program (PDAP) as a potential framework for helping promising innovations progress through key stages of development and toward implementation and scale.

Through discussion and collaborative exploration, the session aims to generate practical insights into how WAITRO could develop future accelerator and innovation support mechanisms aligned with its Strategic Plan 2030.
