Bruno Vandermeulen

Bruno Vandermeulen is an independent Belgian IP lawyer based in Brussels, with 25 years of experience in multinational patent litigation and technology transfer. He previously served as a partner and Head of the IP Practice at an international law firm. Since 2019, he has been Senior IP Director at the Impact Licensing Initiative, supporting companies and knowledge institutions in licensing intellectual property for societal purposes aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Bruno is an expert at the Belgian Council for Intellectual Property and a WIPO-listed arbitrator. He is also a member of WIPO Green’s Core Committee, a certified mediator, and a long-standing member of the Licensing Executive Society International.
