Dr. Rochana Tangkoonboribun
Deputy Governor for Strategy and Innovation, Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR)
Dr. Rochana Tangkoonboribun currently serves as Deputy Governor of Strategy and Innovation Management at the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR). She holds a Ph.D. in Soil Science from Khon Kaen University, Thailand, with research specialization in soil improvement, sustainable agriculture, and sugarcane production.
Dr. Rochana has extensive experience in agricultural research, soil management, fertilizer technology, and sustainable farming systems. Throughout her career at TISTR, she has led and contributed to numerous national and international research projects related to soil rehabilitation, organic fertilizers, agricultural innovation, and climate-resilient agriculture. She is also a key person representing TISTR as a partner organization in the Horizon 2020-funded SOILGUARD Project, an international collaborative initiative on soil biodiversity and sustainable land management.
Her research work has been published in various international scientific publications and conferences. She is actively involved in promoting international collaboration and innovation-driven agricultural development, particularly in the areas of sustainable agriculture and environmental management.
