Rana N. Ardah is Manager of the Water Studies Division at the Water, Environment and Climate Change Centre of the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) in Jordan. She has more than 20 years of professional experience in environmental and water-related fields, including water governance, water policy development, water quality monitoring and assessment, wastewater and greywater management, climate change mitigation and adaptation, community resilience, environmental education, youth and women empowerment, water advocacy, and WASH.

Throughout her career, Ms. Ardah has strengthened the capabilities of the Water Studies Division by expanding its research focus to address the interconnections between water challenges and broader environmental issues, particularly climate change. She has successfully developed and managed national and regional projects centered on governance, innovation, and community participation in environmental management.

Ms. Ardah has led numerous multi-stakeholder initiatives, facilitating collaboration among government institutions, communities, and development partners to promote sustainable environmental practices across Jordan. She also serves on several national technical advisory committees and has extensive experience in business development, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Jordan.
