Kıvanç Zaimler
Board Member and CEO, Sabancı Holding
Kıvanç Zaimler was appointed CEO of Sabancı Holding as of June 1, 2025. Throughout his long-standing leadership career within the Sabancı Group, he has distinguished himself in the areas of transformation in the energy sector, sustainability, and international collaborations.
From 2018 to 2025, Mr. Zaimler served as President of the Energy Group at Sabancı Holding, while also serving as Chairman of the Boards of Enerjisa Enerji, Enerjisa Üretim, Sabancı Climate Technologies, and SabancıDx.
He joined Enerjisa in 2008 and held senior positions across trading, distribution, and retail operations. Between 2016 and 2018, he served as CEO and successfully led the company through its IPO process. Prior to joining the Sabancı Group, he held managerial positions in various sectors, having started his professional career in 1992.
A graduate of Istanbul Erkek High School and Istanbul Technical University, where he studied Industrial Engineering, Zaimler continued his academic studies at the Technical University of Berlin, bringing an international perspective to his professional career.
He actively contributes to global organizations in the fields of energy and climate. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the World Energy Council – Türkiye, a Board Member of IICEC, a member of the SHURA Advisory Board, and a member of TÜSİAD.
Mr. Zaimler’s background as a professional basketball player and his experience as a coach have brought a distinctive perspective to his approach to team management and leadership. Through personal development and mentoring programs, he supports the development of young leaders, reflecting his multifaceted leadership approach not only in the business world but also through his contributions to society.
